Amy M. Walker

Amy M. Walker has been a Certified Personal Trainer since 2000, is currently certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and holds several additional certifications through Cooper Clinic, including:  Nutrition and Dietary Guidance, Special Populations, and the Biomechanics of Resistance Training.  Amy attended Texas Tech University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Exercise and Sports Sciences.  During her collegiate years, she was very involved with Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and is also a Certified Physical Educator in the State of Texas for K-12th grade.

After college, Amy was the General Manager of a women’s only fitness center and was later offered a position as the Assistant Athletic Director at a prestigious country club in Plano, Texas, where she worked for four years.  In 2006, Amy was introduced to a very scientific form of metabolic profiling which revolutionized her philosophy on client fitness program design.  Due to their strong belief in the uniqueness of each and every person’s physiology, Amy and her husband, Dusty, decided to start a business built around programs that were based on scientific, empirical data customized for each client. Thus, FitLab Metabolic Services was founded in January 2009 to serve the weight loss and sports performance needs of Peachtree City, GA, and surrounding communities.

Celia Brown - today

Celia Brown has been involved in the Health & Fitness industry for the past ten years as someone trying to consistently improve her level of fitness.  After spending the majority of her childhood and teenage years overweight, she reached a point where she realized she was heading in a direction that could be detrimental to her long term health.  Once she reached 220lbs in High School it was the “turning point”.

Celia began to work out on her own by walking, progressed to running, and then began to learn about weight training.  After high school, she went on to earn a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from Georgia Tech and, upon graduation, worked in the transportation industry as a Sales Professional. About 2 years into her career in the Corporate world, Celia realized God was calling her in a different direction, but she wasn’t sure what that was. Shortly thereafter the opportunity presented itself for her to actually work on the other side of fitness as a trainer and she pursued it with her whole heart.

Celia Brown - then

Since Celia first began to work out, she has collectively lost 95lbs and her life has been forever changed.  The realization of how weight can affect every aspect of your life has driven her passion for this opportunity.  Celia currently holds a Personal Training Certification through the American Council of Exercise.

Let it not be said that you can not succeed!!!  Celia is proof that – with discipline, hard work, and most of all, heart - you absolutely can.
